Is global warming really an environmental problem? Oh yes it is. The climate is changing. The earth is warming up and most scientists say hat it is human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing. Many people agree that climate changings are the greatest threats facing the earth. To many countries, such as Canada, Denmark, America, Norway, and Russia, that share a border with the artic ocean, many of their animal species are becoming extinct because the earth is heating up and melting their habitat. Global warming also causes earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunami's and now-a-days there seems to be alot more of these disasters happening more often. Other dangers of global warming are that it has been proven that 150,000 people die per year because of global warming, forests and other natural resources are being destroyed, and many species are being killed off. Each year global warming gets worse so even more people, resources, and animals will be killed or destroyed. Ways that I could help prevent global warming is to recycle, turn off lights when I leave a room, use less water, and buy earth friendly products instead of the regular harmful ones.
